EUROPE'S MOST WANTED FUGITIVES: Ben Mahfoudh MONTASSAR

Montassar Ben Mahfoudh is wanted by FAST Luxembourg in an attempted murder case from 2018.

He tried to kill his female victim by kneeling on her shoulders, strangling her and cutting of her breath from her neck, placing a pillow over the face and pressing down hard. He also hit his victim with hands and elbow. He then violently assaulted her using punches, kicks, and gloves with metal tips, causing serious injuries and incapacity for work. Additionally, he threatened her with a knife and verbally, and stole her ID card.

MONTASSAR was identified in the past by the investigators from the Luxembourg Criminal Police.

He was in custody from December 2018 until July 2019 before he was released under judicial conditions.

In 2023, he was sentenced to 10 years of prison by the court in Diekirch (GD of Luxembourg).

The European and International arrest warrants were issued on 15th of March 2024 by the Prosecutor General’s Delegate in charge of Law Enforcement in Luxembourg.
