An item that is found and handed in to the Police will be kept there for 8 days. After this time, the item is transferred to the National found property service (Service national des objets trouvés - SNOT).
SNOT is responsible for storing, returning or disposing of found property.
To help the search for the owner of an item, it is important to hand it in to the Police as quickly as possible.
