Grand-Ducal Regulation of 29 July 2020 determining the procedures for the recruitment of police personnel, Chapter 6 "The medical examination", and Grand-Ducal Regulation of 29 July 2020 determining the procedures for the recruitment of police personnel, Annexes A and B) and a morality enquiry.
Training
The training of future police officers will start in April 2022. It will take two years, with a theoretical and practical police training phase at the Police School and a practical initiation phase within the police units.
At the Police School, the recruits learn, among other things, police and security techniques or the legal framework of police functions and missions. They follow courses on administrative and judicial police and traffic. The program also includes physical and sports education and courses on the use of weapons.
