The calltaker 113 of the national response centre

The 113 calltaker is the person who receives, processes and logs "113" emergency calls at the National Response Centre. Their duties include guiding callers through the conversation and asking the questions necessary to assess the situation and react appropriately.

The 113 calltaker is normally recruited in the B1 treatment group. Professional experience as a call-centre operator or public reception agent may be an advantage. After recruitment, new 113 calltakers will undergo approximately 5 months of in-house training to prepare them for their new role.

The jobs are published on our website like all calls for applications in the civilian sector, and interested parties can then apply for the position via the Govjobs.lu platform.
