The ‘“Self-assertion” project is a cooperation model that brings together public and private partners. The prevention service of the “Capital” region therefore trains citizens interested in this topic in collaboration with various partners.
The aim of the project is to:
- show possible courses of action;
- identify dangerous situations, assess them correctly and overcome them successfully;
- build self-confidence;
- objectively and subjectively increase feelings of safety and thus improve quality of life.
The next training course will consist of 14 evening classes, which will be held in Luxembourgish from February 2026 and in French from mid-September 2026.
The detailed programme and exact training dates will be announced at a later date.
All classes will take place at the Regional Directorate "Capitale " (1, rue Marie et Pierre Curie) in Luxembourg City (Verlorenkost).
A maximum of 26 people can participate in the assertiveness training courses.
Registrations or questions about the project can be sent by email (sbkfm@police.etat.lu) or by telephone (+352) 244 40 4303.
