From 1 July 2025, the police will use body-worn cameras. As set out in Art. 43ter de la loi modifiée du 18 juillet 2018 sur la Police grand-ducale, the recordings made by these cameras are intended to help prevent incidents during police operations. In addition, they are used to record offences and prosecute offenders by collecting evidence.
